I’d like to go to this.

Darn It! make do and mend with textile artist Celia Pym, at Craftspace. It’s one of their Curious About Craft events.

(From the press release … “Textile artist Celia Pym’s practice of creative darning and mending is pertinent to the times we find ourselves in. She poses questions about repair and reuse, love and attention, evidence of use and life and taking time to fix clothes. Celia loves darning clothes; she sees it as a way of reclaiming old clothes and recognising their intrinsic beauty. She has done it in Paris and the Orkney Islands and wants to mend her way around the UK.”)
