Supermarket Sarah for Traid Remade Dalston
Supermarket Sarah, the WONDERFUL lady whose “walls” of stuff pop up all over London and beyond has just collaborated with charity Traid (textile recycling for aid and international development) to put together their Dalston shop window. Doesn’t it look ace?
Traid is a cracking charity that sell really good quality second hand clothes, and make the non-decent ones into new clothes – they’re the ultimate upcyclers.
Thanks to Sarah for these pics. I interviewed her in her Hackney home for Psychologies once. What a lovely day that was.
Me + Not On The Highstreet Make Awards 2013
The good news? I’m very excited to be a judge in this year’s Make Awards, along with Holly Becker of decor8 and the two founders and a couple of other most excellent guys. I’m in very good company and very honoured to be there.
You guys can vote too.
The bad news? I’ve spent so much time on NOTH that I now want to buy EVERYTHING.
