The girl done good.

Back in the day I was fashion editor of the Cardiff student mag, Quench. I did a “how to get into fashion” special and featured a little-known ex-Cardiff student called Josie who was making and selling her own clothes.

Fast forward six years or so and things are a little different. I’m working at the Guardian, and Josie? She’s got her own clothing line, is selling her stuff in Topshop and over at Asos, and has just done her first show at London Fashion Week. Her stuff is awesome these days (just look at this delicious striped top above), although I do still own, and wear, one of the first skirts she made from a bunch of vintage scarves, hankies and an old tie. Josie – many congrats dude!
