Right now I’m in Jordan, and apart from all the incredible temples and buildings, the thing that caught my eye in Petra was this needle and pin from the museum.

Today is my boyfriend Jonny’s birthday. Without him, I would never have got Material World written. He cooked for me, cleaned our flat, and said ‘keep going, you’re ace’ when I was tearing my hair out. He is brilliant. Happy birthday J!
