I just don't get it.

I don’t fancy sleeping on soggy blankets that have been left out all night getting shat on by lonely pigeons. So why do so many big community guerrilla knitting projects feel that they have to take down their public knitting and turn it into blankets or scarves? Why not leave it up, then knit some new stuff that doesn’t have crap all over it?
